How To Fix Anything That’s Not Working

A key to success is knowing when to say, “this isn’t working for me.” The faster you can make that evaluation and move on, the better off you will be.

*Note – I’m not talking about quitting. I’m talking about cleaning and clearing things from your life, daily method of operation, or routine that just don’t serve you. If you don’t, you may end up serving them! These very things that you may think you need can become the shackles that bind you.

Let me give you an example.

I just cleared something off of my desk that has been bothering me for a while. I like a clean desk. I like a clean house. (I’m not a pro at either btw – in full disclosure.) lol But, I just function better that way. I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to pull the trigger but today I did. I had this mass of wires and cables and garbage that was in my way and hard on my eyes. Today, I un-plugged it all and in 5 minutes fixed the problem for good.

Here’s how I did it. I simply asked the question, “Is there a better way to handle this?” There was. Without getting technical, I’ll explain. I simply searched on Amazon for one key piece and voila. One click. It’s ordered. Everything is out of sight and out of mind. My desk is clear and it’s made my brain much happier!

But… Recently I’ve learned the lesson “How you do anything, is how you do everything.” So, now, I take this a step further by asking one question.

“Where else am I allowing junk or garbage to complicate my life?”

Clarity brings awareness and that brings the key to everything.
Robin Sharma says, “With higher levels of awareness, you can make smarter choices.” And by making better choices you will naturally yield better results.

Do you see what I’m getting at here?

What do you need to clear out of your life?

Get real.

Be honest.

Relationships that don’t serve you?

Habits that enslave?

Thoughts that are hurting you?

Dig deep because the answers can be life changing.

p.s. How can I help? Are you struggling with the direction in your life. Do you feel like “there’s gotta be more to life than this!” Is something just “holding you back?” I’d love to hear from you!
