Iran’s Parliamentary Speaker has firmly denied any negotiations with the United States, labeling reports of talks — including those claimed by President Trump — as “fake news” designed to manipulate oil and financial markets.

President Trump asserted that “very good and productive conversations” were underway toward resolving hostilities in the Middle East, including reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and postponed threatened strikes on Iranian power plants for five days.

Meanwhile, Turkey appears involved in diplomatic efforts, with reports indicating Ankara is engaging both sides and relaying messages alongside countries like Egypt and Pakistan to seek an off-ramp from the conflict. No direct ceasefire deal has been confirmed, amid ongoing denials from Tehran.
